Gong Xi Fa Cai! Xīnnián kuàilè!
The energy at today’s Biwa Luncheon was absolutely radiant!
Today’s Biwa Luncheon at Panda Kitchen in celebration of Chinese New Year ( Year of the Fire Horse) was more than just a meal; it was a vibrant tapestry of culture, connection, and community spirit. The venue was beautifully decorated, and our members arrived dressed in their finest red attire, symbolising luck, joy, and the fiery energy of the new year.
A Feast for the Senses,
We were treated to a magnificent spread of authentic Chinese and Sichuan cuisine. From the bold, comforting spices to the communal atmosphere of the “Lazy Susan,” the food provided the perfect backdrop for what we do best: building bridges through conversation. The venue itself offered a relaxed, welcoming sanctuary that allowed old friends to catch up and new friendships to blossom.
Our heartfelt thanks go to our long-standing and incredibly generous sponsor, Hatten Wines, and specifically to Ibu Dayu Soma. Your continued support didn’t just provide the refreshments; it added a sophisticated sparkle to the afternoon that elevated the entire celebration. Cheers to your unwavering commitment to our mission!
We also raised our glasses to the wonderful “birthday ladies” of the month. May your year ahead be as bright and prosperous as today’s celebration. A warm, official welcome to our newest member! We are thrilled to have your voice and energy join our circle. A very special, deep-seated thank you to Ibu Marijke. Your years of invaluable contributions to Biwa are the bedrock of our success. Your tireless dedication serves as a constant inspiration, reminding us all why we gather: to support and uplift the beautiful Bali community we call home.
