Today BIWA attended an informative First Aid Training at Bali International Hospital, where medical professionals guided us through essential lifesaving skills.
We learned practical steps for wound care, including cleaning and protecting injuries to prevent infection.
The session also covered how to respond quickly to choking emergencies, safe burn care techniques, and how to stabilise suspected bone fractures before professional help arrives.
A major focus was CPR, following the DRS-CAB action plan shown in the presentation. We practised correct chest compressions and learned the BEFAST signs of stroke.
The training was clear, practical, and empowering, reminding us how important fast response and basic first aid knowledge can be in saving lives within our community and families every day here in Bali.
We are grateful for the valuable training.
