What an afternoon !!🌞❤️🤍
Over 100 BIWA members, partners, and friends gathered on the stunning rooftop of Double Six Luxury Hotel to celebrate Indonesia’s Independence Day in a way that felt joyful, vibrant, and full of heart.
We were proud to mark 80 years of Indonesian independence 🇮🇩 surrounded by sweeping ocean views, a sea of red and white outfits, and the unmistakable energy that comes from people coming together in community.
The afternoon was brought beautifully to life by the market stalls 🛍️, where guests wandered, connected, and supported local makers selling traditional handmade textiles, jewellery, clothing, and other unique treasures — adding colour, culture, and creativity to the day.
A heartfelt thank you to Yus and her incredible team 💃🎶, who captivated us with traditional dances and songs from across Indonesia. Their performances were powerful, joyful, and deeply moving — a true celebration of culture, history, and storytelling.
From shared tables and laughter 🥂 to meaningful conversations and generous fundraising support, the day captured exactly what BIWA is about: connection, respect, and celebrating the country we are so lucky to call home.
